Paper 1 - Proof-of-concept and initial tests of oblique bubble screens using egg surrogates
Paper 2 - Tested the efficacy of the oblique bubble screens with live eggs and larvae of grass carp
Paper 3 (in review) - Developed a new class of high-precision and economical surrogates for near neutrally buoyant invasive carp eggs
Paper 4 (reviewed) - Modified bubble screen approach to facilitate a high capture efficiency
Paper (in preparation) - Studying the effects of root canopy density, morphology and submergence ratio on the hydrodynamics
Focused on developing a framework for optimizing the rehabilitation of aging gas distribution pipelines considering:
Liquefaction as a hazard
Pipe fragility function
High density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes as a replacement alternative
Cured in place liner (CIPL) as a pipeline repair alternative
Used a flow-based model to define a reliability index, a parameter to indicate the serviceability of the network in the optimization framework
We estimated a novel parameter risk of plastic loss from the landfills in Indian cities considering:
Hazards (rain, flood and wind)
Exposure (landfill's proximity to a water body)
Vulnerability (determined by population, number of landfills in a city and fraction of plastics in landfills)
